| Synonyms | CDKN2B-AS1, CDKN2B-AS, CDKN2BAS, NCRNA00089, PCAT12, RP11-145E5.4, p15AS |
| Disease name | uveal melanoma (UM) |
| Species | Homo sapiens |
| Tissues/Cell_line | human UM cell line OM431; human cutaneous melanoma cell line A375 |
| Methods | Western blot, RT-PCR, knockdown, xenograft, immunohistochemistry, CCK-8 assay |
| Expression pattern | up-regulated |
| Functional description | ANRIL was overexpressed in both the cutaneous and uveal melanoma cohorts compared with the normal control cohort. In a suspicious INK4b-ARF-INK4a gene cluster at chromosome 9p21, aberrant INK4a and INK4b defects were simultaneously endogenously auto-corrected after targeting the suppression of abnormal ANRIL lncRNA. |
