| Functional description | We found that knock-down of MeCP2 by its specific siRNA inhibited TGFβ-induced α-SMA and FN expression. A 4-fold reduction of TGFβ-induced expression of α-SMA by MeCP2 knockdown was seen when compared with cells transfected with scrambled siRNA. |
