Functional description Cluster 1 consisted of four miRNAs (miR-216a, miR217, miR129-5p and miR-203) that were expressed almost equally in patients and the lung, breast and melanoma cell lines, but not in the human mast cell line HMC-1. KEGG pathway analysis showed that metabolism and signalling pathways, including “glycosaminoglycan biosynthesis” and “TGF-beta signalling”, were among the most common pathways.
